Christopher Newell, PT Christopher S. Newell, MSPT
Physical Therapist/Owner

Originally from the Boston area, Chris completed a B.S. in Health and Physical Education at Utah State and an M.S.P.T. at the University of Miami. He interned at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tufts University in Boston and Sports Medicine in Honolulu. Chris has been practicing physical therapy in Naples since 1990. He served as a physical therapist for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City. His areas of expertise include orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. Chris has been a mentor to other physical therapists and has assisted local physicians in developing protocols for post-surgical care.

Jorge Luis Battilana, MPT Jorge L. Battllana, PT, DPT, Cert. MDT
Physical Therapist/Owner

Jorge has been practicing physical therapy since 1989. He is originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina where he received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Buenos Aires.

He further continued his education and in 2007, he completed his doctoral degree from the University of St. Augustine, FL.

In addition, he has a clinical certification for the treatment of the spine from the internationally recognized McKenzie Institute. He also attended manual therapy continuing education courses for the treatment of orthopedic dysfunctions. He is fluent in English and Spanish and conversational Portuguese.

Donald R. Dombrowski Donald R. Dombrowski
Director of Operations

Originally born in Chicago Illinois, Donald attended Vennard Christian College in Oskaloosa, Iowa where he studied Theology as well as Business Administration and Human Resources. Donald moved to Naples in 1993 and has worked for the Arthrex Corporation, Cleveland Clinic Florida as a billing/coding specialist and at Gulf Coast Spine and Orthopaedic Institue as the Practice Administrator. Donald oversees the day to day operations here at Performance Physical Therapy of Naples, Inc.

Patricia M. Barral, PT
Physical Therapist

Patricia was born and raised in Buenos Aires and completed a B.S. degree at the University of El Salvador/Buenos Aires. She moved to Chicago in 1995 and worked with cardiac and neurological patients. Relocating to Indianapolis, she practiced for eight years before settling in Naples in 2006. Patricia specializes in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation. She is fluent in Spanish and English.

Philip Standhart, DPT, CSCS Philip Standhart, DPT, CSCS
Physical Therapist

A native of Rochester, NY, Philip has practiced Physical Therapy for 15 years. He received his Master's degree from Nazareth College and Doctorate from Northeastern University in 2008. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Philip has worked as an Outpatient Orthopedic Therapist for 13 years, living in New York, North Carolina, Hawaii and Florida. He had the opportunity to work as a Sports Physical Therapist for Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center for 2 years, providing rehabilitation to high school, college and professional athletes. In his spare time, Philip was the Strength and Conditioning Coach for Wake Forest University's Men's Rugby team.

Philip was also the lead therapist for Stanly Inpatient Rehabilitation in 2009. During that time, he contributed to Stanly Inpatient Rehabilitation gaining a five star performance status, ranking Stanly in the top 5% nationally for inpatient rehabilitation. Philip was a consultant for Stanly Medical Services Sports Conditioning Programs and was a regular presenter of Stanly Medical Services Bariatric Program.

Tracy Rogers Tracy Rogers, DPT
Physical Therapist

Born in Iowa City, Iowa, Tracy earned her Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Arizona while serving in the United States Navy from 1997 to 2005. Tracy served as a Division Officer, Lieutenant, aboard the USS Jarrett where she was deployed in the Persian Gulf during support of Operation Enduring Freedom. In 2008, after serving 9 years with the US Navy, Tracy moved to Florida. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida in 2011. Tracy enjoys using her skills as a physical therapist, especially manual therapy techniques to help rehabilitate patients.

Physical Therapist

Originally from Connecticut, Greg received his Bachelor degree in physical therapy from Quinnipiac University in 1984. With over 25 years of experience in physical therapy, not only has Greg been a Physical Therapist in the United States Army Reserve for 6 years, he was also the accomplished private practice business owner for SCORE Physical Therapy an orthopedic rehabilitation and evaluation center of excellence in Middlebury, CT from 1993 to 2011. Greg also has experience in homecare.

Physical Therapist Assistant

Susan is a native Floridian. She completed an A.D. in Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant at the Gwinnett Technical Institute in Atlanta. She interned in Gainesville and Rome, Georgia and Naples Community Hospital here in Naples. Susan has experience in acute care in hospital settings, orthopedic rehabilitation, wound care, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Susan has also been a Certified Personal Trainer since 2003.
